Istanbul Medipol University adopts a new principle to train students who obtained high qualifications, and students that aim to improve science and technology.
It is one of the most important private universities in Turkey, accredited by the higher council of universities; therefore, it’s accredited nationally and internationally.
It was established by Turkish Minister Fahrettin Koca in 2009, and he gained fame from his administration that spread around the world in preventing the spread of the Corona Virus in Turkey.
Istanbul Medipol University includes an international medicine faculty that is considered one of the best medicine faculties in English in Turkey, and that’s because the university has one of the biggest private hospitals in Turkey “Mega Medipol Hospital” that consists of four hospitals: General Hospital, Oncology Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, and Dental Hospital.

Istanbul Medipol University has 3 campuses:
- The First Campus “Mega Medipol Hospital Complex”. Besides being a university hospital, Mega Medipol Hospital Complex, which is the largest private medical investment in Turkey, is a medical complex consisting of four separate branches.
- The Second Campus “Halic Complex” is located on a peninsula near Halic, which is one of the oldest parts of Istanbul, and it houses the Faculty of Health Sciences and Vocational Schools.
- The Third Campus “Kavagic” is located on both sides of the Trans-European Highway, connecting Asia and Europe, with the northern and southern campuses in Kavagic.
- The northern campus: there’s the administration building, language school, and vocational schools. In addition, it covers facilities including sports centers, restaurants, dormitories, a library, classrooms, dining halls, laboratories, parking, a medical center, consulting service, and the REMER research center.
- The southern campus: includes the Faculty of Medicine, International Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Medipol Faculty of Business, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Vocational Schools, Graduate School of Forensic Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Graduate School of Health Sciences, and Graduate School of Social Sciences.
