Bahcesehir university was founded in 1998
Initially, it was founded in Bahcesehir in Istanbul, then the university moved to Besiktas at the center of Istanbul, the meeting spot of art, culture, and business.
Adopting this slogan (The University of the World in the Heart of Istanbul). Bahcesehir university is unique for having exchange programs for teachers and students with many international universities: New York University, Harvard University, Stanford University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Bahcesehir University has won the championship award twice in a row in the “Higher Education” category and is one of the Top 500 Exporters of Turkey Awards, presented by the Turkish Exporters Association in 2017 and 2018.
