Ozyegin University
The Husnu M. Ozyegin institution initiated its efforts to create Ozyegin university in the autumn of 2005.
The creation of Ozgeyin University required conducting comprehensive surveys on more than 500 subjects including businessmen, educational staff, and University, and high school students, as well as a study on the development of sectors and professions in Turkey and the world.
Ozyegin University was officially established on the 18th of May 2007 to become a unique university to contribute to social development through its modern education system, innovative life-integrated structure, cross-sector academic approach, and academic programs designed for that.
Ozyegin University welcomed its first students to the Altunizade Campus in September 2008 and opened the doors of the Sekmekoy Campus in September 2011.
Cekmekoy Campus:
Ozyegin Cekmekoy University Campus is a quiet, peaceful, and serene campus. The OzU Cekmekoy campus was created by a leading architecture firm, which also designed the buildings of the University of Cambridge and Princeton University and is Turkey’s first LEED-accredited campus.
The campus is located on an area of 283000 square meters and provides all the amenities and facilities needed to enhance the academic development of students, and their exposure to social, sports, and cultural events, through its quiet and comfortable classrooms, modern classrooms, and laboratories, a 15000 square meters sports center, and a 2825 square meters library- in addition to two halls with a capacity of 350 and 372 people, respectively.
