First: The scholarship covers almost all of your expenses:

The scholarship fully covers the tuition fees and a large percentage of your expenses, which we will explain to you later. All you need to know now is that you are financially safe as long as you are a student of the scholarship.

The scholarship will cover:

  1. Visa expenses that enable you to travel to Turkey: which is a “student” visa and you obtain it from the Turkish embassy in your country.
  2. Airplane ticket expenses: There are only two tickets, a one-way ticket that you take out from your home country to Turkey, and a return ticket that you receive after you finish your studies in Turkey to return to your home country, and any tickets during your study period are on your account.
  3. University housing: whether it is affiliated with the university or the city, the housing provides you with two daily meals, breakfast + dinner, and all its internal services are completely free.
  4. Comprehensive health insurance: This is a government health insurance and is considered the best in Turkey.

Terms of the Turkish Scholarship 2023:

  • Undergraduate scholarship conditions:
  1. You must be 21 years of age or younger.
  2. Your score must be 70% or more (unless you want to apply to medical colleges, your score must be 90% or more).
  • Scholarship requirements for a master’s degree:
  1. You must be 30 years of age or younger.
  2. Your score must be 75% or more.

How to apply for the Turkish scholarship 2023:

Register and log in: 

  1. Use the account that we previously created or create a new account on the official website of the Turkish scholarship
  2. By following the well-known steps when creating any new account, and after authenticating the account via the email that we used when creating the account, we can now log in to our account on the Turkish Scholarship website.
  3. The site will take you to the main page, where you can view all its contents in several languages, including Arabic, French, English, Turkish, and other languages.
  4. To the right or left of the screen (depending on the language used), you will see a list consisting of eleven sections or side headings. Then, a red circle appears next to each heading, which means that it is obligatory to answer all questions and information required in this list, or yellow, which means that it is not obligatory to answer them.

First title:

  • It is for the home page where the available scholarships and programs are announced to appear, and it also appears if you are eligible to apply for these programs if you have finished entering the required information.

The second title:

  • It is for personal information in the specified place. Upload a clear personal photo of yourself, then answer your questions and fill in the required fields with the correct information that matches your official documents (your identity card and passport).
  • The questions on this page are personal questions such as name, place, date of birth, gender, race, religion, etc.

Third title:

  • It is for information about the family, the number of your siblings, and their marital status.

Sixth title:

  • Language details: simply select your mother tongue, and then add the other languages ​​you know by specifying the level, and if you have a certificate for one of the Turkish language levels, answer the relevant question with yes, select the authority that issues the certificate and download it in the place designated for it.

Seventh title (not mandatory): 

  • Work Experience: your experiences in the labor market.

Eighth title (not mandatory):

  • Academic qualification: some universities may require students to pass exams such as the GRE, GMAT, and SAT ALES as a condition for admission. On this page, you fill in the necessary fields for this matter.

  • You will follow up on the application that you submitted from here. The finishing of the registration and completion of the application:

  • After filling in the answers to the required questions in each field, a sign in the form of two check marks will appear next to the name of the list on the edge of the screen.
  • After making sure that this sign is present next to the titles, especially the mandatory ones, be sure to return to the home page and apply for the application, the option that appears before we finish filling in the necessary information.
  • After pressing the Apply button, a message will appear asking you about what you did in the period after you finished the last educational stage. Answer this question by choosing one of the options that appear, and add a simple explanation that justifies your answer.
  • Then you go to read the information and conditions related to the grant, read it and check the box that states that you have read and agreed to these conditions, and click Save.
  • Then you go to information about the referral/recommendation, and here you upload the letter of recommendation that you had obtained, and fill in the fields with the required information about the person recommending and specifying whether this person is an academic or not.
  • Then you move on to options: here you choose majors, departments, and universities for students applying to the undergraduate program. You are entitled to apply for 12 majors, departments, and universities. The scholarship administration advises you to stay away from the universities of Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir to increase your chances of admission, and also to focus on arranging your choices. The option you choose first will be considered a priority.
  • Then we move on to the letter of intent or the letter of motivation: with a maximum of 300 words, we write the letter of intent with the Kalem Foundation, consultants specialized in helping you write this letter to express yourself optimally.
  • After moving to the questionnaire page, specify the place, country, and city where you would prefer the interview to take place in the event of initial acceptance. Also, this place doesn’t need to be selected by the scholarship administration.
  • After that, you will move to a page that displays a summary of the submitted application. Review it and make sure that the information and choices are correct. Make the necessary amendments, if any, and then approve the application.
  • That way, we will have applied for the scholarship, and our application would be on the list of my applications.
  • Your application can be cleared and re-submitted if you discover that there are errors in the submission as mentioned earlier.
  • If you do not find the major or department you studied, fill it in manually, and translate it into Turkish.
