It’s a non-profit university based in Istanbul
It was established by the Ibrahim Arkan Foundation for Education and Scientific Research. Moreover, it opened in the 2014-2015 academic year. It is also the first university in the world to adopt the “flipped classroom” educational model at the university level.
About Maeve University:
Flipped classrooms are an educational strategy and a type of blended learning, which aims to increase student participation and learning by having students complete readings at home and work on problem-solving directly during class time.
MEF University was established by the Ibrahim Arikan Foundation for Education and Scientific Research to continue the success of MEF educational institutions that make a difference with 47 years of knowledge and experience in education.
MEF University welcomed its first students in the 2014-2015 academic year and is on its way to becoming a university that creates added value at the global and local levels through its different educational and training models, which prioritize entrepreneurship, creative thinking, and creativity.
It is a faculty-supported university, established to graduate internationally competitive forward-thinking students and bring together leading scholars in the field of research, who will make contributions of global importance to their careers, science, and technology.
