Istanbul Arel University was founded in 2007 by the Kemal Gözükara Organization for education and culture. It has numerous bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. programs where most education is in English.
In the following years, Istanbul Arel University’s scope of education extended so far that it now has the following facilities: Ariel Preparatory School, Ariel Primary School, Ariel Anatolian High School, Ariel Science High School, and Ariel Sports and Culture Complex.
After 26 years, the institute aimed to expand its activities to the university level, and it was officially certified by law on May 9, 2007, published in the official newspaper No. 26526, on May 18, 2007. Moreover, Istanbul Arel University’s campus lies in Buyukcekmece, Istanbul.
